POSTPONED! Martin Luther King Jr Day of Service Neighborhood Energy Outreach Volunteer Event

January 16, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm

UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE TO POSTPONE DUE TO WEATHER. STAY TUNED FOR NEW TIME AND DATE! Join us for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service! You and a partner will knock on doors in the Cole and Clayton neighborhoods of Northeast Denver. At each home, you will offer to change out the front porch light bulb to an energy efficient bulb, provide information about reducing energy use, and sign people up for free recycling, energy assessments, energy improvements (like insulation or a new furnace) and trees. It’s simple and makes a huge difference for people and the planet. Over the last eight years, 3,000 volunteers have replaced over 20,000 inefficient porch light bulbs with efficient CFLs or LEDs, reducing greenhouse gases by over 7000 tons and saving $840,000!
