Lower Bear Creek Fall Community Stewardship Day
It’s time for another community stewardship day in the Lower Bear Creek watershed! Saturday September 20th we will be partnering with the City of Sheridan to make this stewardship day possible. The project will start at Bobcat Park in Sheridan and we will work east towards the Bear Creek’s confluence with the South Platte River (about a mile long section of the creek). Please come help us show some love to this section of the Bear Creek with fellow stakeholders and community members!
What: Lower Bear Creek Community Stewardship Day
When: Saturday September 20th 9:00am to 12:00pm (meet at 8:45am for sign in)
Where: Bobcat Park 3101 W Bear Creek Dr Sheridan, CO 80110
Primary Work Projects:
- Trash pick-up along the creek
- Chain link removal from trees
- Dead tree carry-out
