Groundwork Greens Grand Opening Fundraiser
Located in the Aria Denver community of Northwest Denver, this special preview and celebration of the Groundwork Greens project embarking on a sustainability and food justice mission is an event intended to bring together like minded individuals, businesses, and organizations. Groundwork Greens is a social enterprise that will grow and sell fresh produce in the urban neighborhoods of Denver, including low-income food desert areas, while also providing job training for low-income youth.
The Grand Opening event for the greenhouse will include cooking demos and food tastings from a variety of renowned chefs and local restaurants: The Preservery, Serendipity Catering, Stir Cooking School, Café Bon Appétit, Dubbel Dutch, and Backyard Soda Co. Including sweet treats from James Okerson, Executive Pastry Chef of CU-Boulder.
Tickets to this event are available online HERE, tickets may also be purchased at the event. VIP guests will get a small group tour of the greenhouse and a meet and greet with Dr. James Rouse.
