This project is taking place on a very special day – Earth Day! In honor of Earth Day, Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado will work with the City and County of Denver and the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge to construct 6,600 feet of new trail along First Creek. Volunteers, ages 10 and up, will build the trail by hauling and spreading an aggregate material known as “crusher fine.” Tasks will be easy-to-moderate in difficulty.
