2015 MLK Day of Service Neighborhood Energy Outreach

January 19, 2015 @ 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm

When:

1:00 PM to 4:30 PM

January 19, 2015

Where:

Montbello Neighborhood  **Our specific meeting location is currently being determined but an update will be sent out once this detail has been confirmed**

We will be going door to door on MLK Day, Monday, January 19th in the Montbello Neighborhood of Denver to help people reduce their energy use and their energy bills.

For those who haven’t volunteered with Groundwork on MLK Day, here is what you’ll do: you and a partner will knock on about 40 doors assigned to you. At each home, you’ll offer to change out the front porch light bulb to a compact fluorescent bulb, provide information about reducing energy use, and sign people up for free recycling, energy audits and street trees. It’s simple and makes a huge difference for people and the planet.

To RSVP for this project please contact Volunteer Coordinator Dele Johnson dele@groundworkcolorado.org OR 303-455-5600 ext 209.
