Volunteer with Groundwork Denver

Throughout the year, Groundwork Denver volunteers contribute thousands of hours of hands-on work and professional expertise. When you volunteer with us, you join a community of people taking action towards environmental justice.

There are several ways you can volunteer with Groundwork Denver:

1. Ad hoc events. Join us at our year-round volunteer events including creek clean-ups, tree plantings, and more. You can find out about these by subscribing to our email list or checking our Events Calendar.
2. Ongoing individual volunteering. Contribute your unique skills as an individual on an ongoing basis by contacting us at Volunteer@GroundworkColorado.org. We'll work to find a way to plug you in to support our work while meeting your interests and availability. Examples include GIS mapping support, graphic design, marketing and communications, administrative tasks, fundraising, event support, and more.
3. Group opportunities. Existing groups like companies, religious groups, etc. can coordinate with us to create special opportunities or plug you into exisiting projects. If you are with an existing group, please complete our Group Volunteer Inquiry Form below.
4. Pro-bono expertise and board service. If you are a passionate community member with skills and perspectives you want to contribute, consider supporting us with professional services or as a member of our board of directors. We seek individuals with specific skills sets and/or who are able to serve as representatives of communities most impacted by environmental contamination.
