Get or Plant a Tree! (Sheridan)
We need a lot of help getting Earth Month tree planting projects off the ground! Check out all the ways you can get involved below.
GET A TREE.
We’re partnering with City of Sheridan and Adams County to get trees out to residents this spring. Trees are $0-$25, and we offer complimentary planting services, tree delivery, and tree care support and supplies like rain barrels and drip-line buckets.
Sheridan Residents and/or Property Owners: Learn more and sign up here. Make sure to take us up on the free services that are great for you and give us opportunities to engage youth and community.
Adams County/Commerce City Residents: If you live in BOTH Commerce City AND UNINCORPORATED Adams County, you are eligible for a free tree, including delivery, planting, and irrigation support at no cost. Here’s where you can get more info and register.
Live somewhere else? For now, please complete this very brief interest form, and we will be in touch if/when trees become available in your area.
COMMUNITY WORKDAYS (Volunteer or Earn a Stipend)
We need all kinds of help, from flyering and canvassing, to actually planting trees in neighbors’ yards, to other odds and ends. Regardless of whether you have expertise or would be learning these things for the first time, we could use your support!
If you want to work or volunteer on April 19 or April 20 in Sheridan, or on May 4 in Commerce City, below are the roles available to you. If you are curious about other dates and roles, please visit our Events Calendar. If you are part of a group, please do not register below until talking with us. You can start by completing our Group Volunteer Inquiry form.
Roles for April 19, April 20, and May 4:

We will soon launch the full Earth Month campaign, including lots of opportunities for group volunteerism, recognition, co-branding, cause marketing, and other benefits. Please contact Savanna@GroundworkColorado.Org for more information on how you can become a partnering sponsor!
