Help us get the word out about trees!

This Earth Day, Groundwork Denver and City of Sheridan are helping distribute and plant 100 trees om Sheridan. Our goal is to improve the local tree canopy cover, which is quite sparse in the area and leads to all sorts of issues — especially overheating.

We have 100 trees needing to find homes, and we need your help to make those matches!

Join Groundwork Denver volunteers and Sheridan residents as we flyer and canvas Sheridan. We’ll drop flyers off at homes to provide information about the program and how people can sign up. We may also sign people up on the spot.

You must complete this volunteer waiver ahead of time (or we will have them available on-site) before you can participate, but you do not have to register for this event — you can simply show up at Wildcat Park to join in! Make sure to show up on-time — we’ll do introductions, a quick training, and then hit the streets. Please dress for the weather and wear comfy shoes.
