As a Tree Planter, you'll be placed on a crew of 3-5 other tree planters. You'll receive training, and with a Crew Lead showing the way, your team will plants trees in neighbors' yards in Sheridan and/or Commerce City. You'll learn about climate-friendly trees, how to properly plant and care for them, and help make Denver a more an environmentally just city.

Note that this is not the Crew Lead registration form - this is for people who want to dig holes and put trees in the ground.

Together with hundreds of participants over the months ahead, we'll get 200 trees out to local residents!

As a Crew Lead, you'll play a crucial role leading a team of 3-5 volunteers in planting trees in neighbors' yards. Along the way, you'll learn about climate-friendly trees, how to properly plant and care for them, how to lead your crew, and why trees are such a big key to achieving environmental justice in Denver.

As a member of the Tree Care Team, you'll go door to door with a buddy or two to make sure each resident who gets a tree has the information and equipment they need to ensure that their new leafy friend is around for decades to come.

First, you'll attend a virtual training (livestreamed and recorded) to learn everything you need to know about tree irrigation and maintenance. Then you'll join us for 1, 2, or 3 tree planting days of your choosing, going behind planting crews to talk to residents and put their irrigation into place. Along the way, you'll learn a lot, meet new people, and help make metro Denver a more an environmentally just city.
