DESCRIPTION:Join Groundwork Denver on Saturday\, October 10\, from 9 AM to 2 PM for a volunteer day at The Loop\, a vacant lot at 14th and Kendall in Lakewood that’s being transformed into a green\, sustainable community space with native plantings\, garden beds\, and water-conscious design. This is one of the first hands-on steps in bringing that vision to life\, and we’d love your help getting it started. \nWe’ll plant trees and native plants\, build garden beds\, tackle water conservation projects\, and give the site an overall community greening boost. \nThis is outdoor\, hands-on work\, rain or shine. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring sun protection. We’ll supply gloves\, tools\, water\, and sunscreen. \nLocation: The Loop\, near the Big Bunny Motel\, 14th and Kendall\, Lakewood \nParking: Free street parking is readily available right around the building and alongside the park. You’re welcome to park anywhere along the street or in the neighboring lot. \nDo you live at The Loop apartments?
