SUMMARY:Laundry to Landscape Graywater Class for Homeowners
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to design and build a residential laundry-to-landscape graywater system! \nWith supply shortages on the horizon\, water conservation and water efficiency are more vital than ever. This class will cover the basics on how to build and operate a single family home\, laundry-to-landscape (L2L) graywater system that reroutes water from your clothes washer to irrigate your outdoor landscaping. This course is intended for residents of single family homes interested in designing and installing a L2L system. \nThis is a four-hour course. Tuition is subsidized by the Denver Department of Public Health & Environment and the Colorado Water Conservation Board. In this class you will learn: \n· Colorado Graywater codes and regulations for L2L systems \n· Estimating graywater supply of L2L systems \n· Correctly sizing the distribution system \n· Plants appropriate for your graywater system \n· How to plumb your clothes washer to divert graywater outside the house \nRegister for the course here!
