From Green Team to Energy Auditor, Sadot Castaneda is Making Moves!

We are very pleased to announce that long time Green Team member and Green Team Leader Sadot Casteneda is now officially the newest member of the Groundwork Denver Home Energy Audit Team!

A little history of Sadot’s Groundwork Journey…Sadot collage

Sadot began working at Groundwork Denver in 2010, as a member of the Green Team, often helping run bike repair stations at small local events and riding bikes to work sites like local community gardens. In addition to his work in theneighborhoods of Denver Sadot has also worked with Groundwork Denver in Rocky Mountain and Great Sand Dunes National Parks. This past summer Sadot was a Green Team Leader, managing a crew of young Green Teamers primarily working the land at Schmitt Elementary in Southwest Denver. Which now brings us to today, where we see Sadot transitioning from Green Team –> Energy Audit Team where he will have the opportunity to put his knowledge of the Spanish language and technical skills to work helping our clients become more energy efficient in their homes.

Sadot is now the third Groundwork Denver staff member who has transitioned from the Green Team to a more consistent role within the organization like fellow co-workers Dele Johnson and Melake Getabecha who have shared similar career pathways.
